Welcome to the second part of the Answered Prayer Series.
As we journey along we'll come to explore more reasons why we may experience unanswered prayers in our walk with God and uncover how to pray more efficiently for results. Answered prayer simply means prayers that are answered by God. Unanswered Prayer on the other hand means prayers he doesn't respond to.
I know some folks have issues believing we can have 100% answered prayer. But why pray then if we are not going to receive answers? Think about that. And here is the word of God for us. Jesus Christ says in
Jesus Christ would not lie to us. He reminds us of the importance of having a relationship with him. If you have no relationship with God how then do you come to him to ask for anything? Jesus says remain in me and let my words remain in you THEN you shall ask anything you desire and it shall be done unto you.John 15:7 (KJV)
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
He doesn't say "ye shall ask what ye will, and SOME SHALL BE DONE unto you". He actually says "ye shall ask what ye will and it shall be done unto you".
As I stated in part 1 of this series that the CONFIDENCE we have in God is based on our relationship with him, Jesus Christ is reminding us not to give up on him, as long as we can remain in him anything we ask will be done for us.
I tell you, seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and every other thing shall be added to you. (Matthew 6:33).
I am certain that gradually you are building this trust/confidence in God that he is a prayer answering Father and he is eager to hear from you and respond to your request, he is too eager that before you have finished putting words together he already responds to your demands.
A conscious consistent and continual study of the Word of God is essential for ANSWERED PRAYER. In the next part we will have some more assurances of answered prayer from the Word of God. As we've seen so far a relationship with God guarantees an answer to our prayers and also a continual study of his word which is his will for us and also builds our relationship with him to give us more confidence and trust that when we ask for anything God will do it for us. Isn't that amazing. God actually wants us to freely talk to him ourselves, it's good to have others pray for you but it's much better to pray and interact with God one-on-one. Can you begin talking to God right now? He is eager to listen. God Richly Bless You.
